Assembly of Paint was born from a curiosity of colour interplay explored through the modality of paint and the desire to create a particular feeling, mood or energy with visual stimulation. In studio we are testing, experimenting and observing paint colours and their interaction and curating the perfect minimalist palettes for you. Through painting the palette is pushed to create complexity across the full breadth of its capability. On the first of each month a new palette is released through an assemblage of original paintings that showcase these intersections of the palette in motion. 

Assembly of Paint is committed to high quality affordable art. Our hope is that you will explore our palettes along side with us and find pieces to bring into your space that create the mood you are looking for.   

Janine Sam (she/her) is the principal painter and founder of Assembly of Paint. She is a self-taught artist and designer. Janine is a visual thinker who daydreams in colour with no limits to her imagination. She seeks a wide range of inspirations from the mountains and forest in her hometown of Vancouver, Canada to the vibrancies of busy urban life. Janine hopes her work sparks a little joy and inspiration.
